Domestic articles were retrieved through Igaku-chuuou-zasshi web,while foreign articles were retrieved through theWeb of Knowledge. Five domestic articles and nine English articles from foreign countries that were directly relevant to this study were used. Caregivers’experiences vary according to the disease progression oftheir patients. Additionally,their personalmental health,that is associated with their characteristics, plays a role in affecting their experience as a caregiver.
